Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you may receive a refund for purchases made through IRSDecode. Our payment processor, Dodo Payments, may appear on your receipt and payment statement.

Digital products and services

IRSDecode primarily sells access to digital analysis and related content. Once full analysis has been delivered or unlocked in your session, you have received the core benefit of the purchase. Refund eligibility is described below.

30-day satisfaction guarantee (paid unlocks)

If you purchase a one-time unlock (for example, the single-letter analysis) and you believe the Service did not substantially deliver what was described at checkout, you may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase date. We will review your request in good faith. Approved refunds are processed through Dodo Payments according to their timelines.

This guarantee does not apply if you received and used the full paid output solely because you changed your mind after receiving a complete analysis, except where required by law. It also does not apply to abuse, chargeback fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.

Subscriptions and passes

For subscription-style or time-limited passes (such as a tax season pass or annual plan), cancellation and refund rules depend on the product you selected at checkout and Dodo Payments' policies. Generally:

  • You may cancel future renewals before the next billing date where the product is structured as a subscription.
  • Refunds for partial unused periods may be available on a case-by-case basis or as required by consumer protection law in your region.

Free previews

No payment is required for free preview features. There is nothing to refund for free use.

How to request a refund

Email support@irsdecode.com with your purchase email, date of purchase, and order or transaction reference from your Dodo Payments receipt. Replace this address with your real support email before going live. We typically respond within a few business days.

You may also use Dodo Payments' buyer support channels if shown on your receipt or payment confirmation.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue. Unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of access to the Service.

Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
